The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies towards the community.
SASSA will likely be rendering companies such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a large amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This really is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The support level designed for intervention ordeals a significant inflow of likely beneficiaries, that makes it difficult with the here office to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to permit the servicing of all here customers and enhance access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
